SP Dance Club started out as a cheerleading club in the 1980s.

Over the years, dance was infused in to the club and SP Dance and Cheer was formed. In 2007, SP Dance and Cheer denoted the current club name, SP Dance, after the cheerleaders broke off from the club to form their own. In the same year, we adopted Strictly Dance Zone (SDZ) as our dance team name, and established ourselves in local dance industry. Currently SP Dance Club offers 3 genres – Modern, Hip Hop and Bboy (breakdance).

In terms of dance skills and its achievements, SDZ has improved tremendously from the day it was born. Till now, SDZ has performed in numerous events that extended beyond the school, and has stepped out into the competition level, battling alongside other dancers from different dance clubs and crews for better recognition. With the club repeatedly inculcating its values in the minds of its dance members, it hopes to maintain the discipline among them.

With Ryan (modern), AnAn (hip hop) and KH (bboy) guiding us along the way, SDZ hopes to soar to greater heights.
